You just put into words a feeling I've been antogonizing myself so long for feeling. Being the one that comes to everyone's help, that is liked in that level where yeah, you're remembered as a good person but not held, just "a pit stop", to quote you, to the real destination, a side character that gives the story the push it needed but gets forgotten soon enough. No matter how far you push your boundaries not to inconvenience the new person that has stopped by(dusty boots come on in, you said) they all leave in the end, and you are drained, but not fully, because you keep a part of them with you. A joke you keep saying till it's no longer funny, an expression that never becomes yours, even if you try. And I never know what to make of that, because it will never be fully mine, and always remain a reminder that I wasn't enough for them to stay.

from one pit stop to another this is insanely beautiful and hurtful at the same time :( 🤌🏻✨

I actually covered my mouth with my hand in awe and shock every single new line! and when I was done reading I actually said "what the heck?" (Incredible experience 5 stars)
